The University of Nairobi Chancellor, the Council, the Senate, Staff and Students convey our condolences to the family of the retired second President of the
Republic of Kenya, H.E. the Late Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi, CGH who went to be with the Lord on February 4, 2020.
The late President Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi served as the longest Chancellor of the University of Nairobi between 1978 – 2002. The University fraternity will
forever be grateful to him for expanding the higher education infrastructure to meet the growing demand for University education in Kenya.
May the Almighty God rest his soul in Eternal Peace.
