The Staff Performance Appraisal (SPA) for the 2019/2020 period was launched in July 2019 and is set to end on June 30, 2020. This is to remind all staff of the following:
1. NON TEACHING STAFF
The tools for non-teaching staff for Grade I-IV and Grade 1-15 are online and all staff in these cadres is expected to conduct appraisal online on spas.uonbi.ac.ke
2. TEACHING STAFF
The tool was approved and implemented as an Excel Template. The staff will continue to use this tool as an Excel Template till it is fully automated.
A soft copy can be obtained from College Registrars' Offices or downloaded from the University intranet.
It is mandatory that all staff on active duty complete their performance appraisals. All staff on Unpaid Leave of Absence, Sabbatical Leave, Suspension or Medical related leave is exempted. Similarly, all staff being appraised in their departments must have served for 6 months and above in that work station to qualify for appraisal in that station/unit.
This is therefore to remind all staff to adhere strictly to the schedule of Performance Appraisal circulate in July 2019 and observe the prescribed timelines.
